Same shop. Same family.
Two generations.
Giannis Mellos and Aspasia Karnezi opened the shop in 1997, after working lives that ran through marble workshops and fuel stations.
Their daughter Kate Mellou runs it today, and turned it toward the water: ropes, anchors and antifouling alongside the tools and paints the village has always come in for.

Step off the Poros ferry, walk two minutes inland. Yellow awning, blue frame, ΜΕΛΛΟΥ over the door. You’ll smell rope and WD-40 before you see it.
